With re-imagined workings of the classical composer Ludwig van Beethoven‘s 3rd and 6th Symphonies, Mathis, along with keyboardist Todd Stoops (RAQ), drummer Jay Lane (Primus/RatDog), and guitarist Clay Welch, go on improvisational explorations to the deepest depths of each individual movement.Getting To Know Electric Beethoven: An Interview With Reed MathisThe CDM (Classical Dance Music) quartet will be making their Colorado debut next week, with a pair of shows at Denver’s Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom on Nov. 12th and 13th, followed by a performance at Fort Collins’ Hodi’s Half Note on Nov. 14th. Expect to go on a musical journey.Coming off of two major performances at Brooklyn Comes Alive and a marathon of a show at New York City’s DROM last week, Mathis and company are primed and ready to blast off. Ellsworth remains undefeated

first_imgELLSWORTH — The Ellsworth boys’ soccer team scored four unanswered goals in the final 21 minutes of the game to rally from a 2-1 deficit against Foxcroft Academy on Thursday.Ellsworth won 5-2.Ellsworth improved its record to 7-0-1 and handed the Foxcroft Ponies their first loss (6-1).Alex Braley scored two of the four goals, and Colby Clarke started the surge off a Braley pass. A throw-in by Lukas Firestone set up Braley’s first goal at 16:35. Matt Curtis then blasted in the ball from 20 yards out about 11 minutes later. Braley capped the scoring for the Eagles with 2:01 left when he converted off a direct kick.This is placeholder textThis is placeholder textFirestone put the Eagles on the scoreboard first with 20:37 left in the first half when his kick from 30 yards out sliced just under the crossbar. first_imgGUWAHATI: Swarangsri Daimary of Assam Police, representing Indian Wushu team, won bronze medal at the 3rd International Peace and Friendship Wushu Cup held at Zehedam, Iran recently. She won the medal in below 60kg cetegory of Women’s Sanda event (Free Fighting). The Indian team bagged two Gold medals, one Silver as well as seven bronze medals.
