No injuries were reported. The magnitude-4.3 quake struck at 5:22 a.m. and was centered 15 miles north of Ridgecrest, the U.S. Geological Survey said on its Web site. Ridgecrest is about 110 miles northeast of Bakersfield. “It was a jolt and then a smooth roll,” said Kammy Rana, a dispatcher for the Ridgecrest Police Department. “It made the office sway slightly.” Rana said the quake lasted less than a minute. first_imgThe recent flooding at the Aura Leisure Centre is a lot worse than first thought.Management at the centre in Letterkenny have been forced to tell sporting clubs that the outdoor floodlights may not be working until after Christmas.
