The Sr.Research Program Coordinator will be responsible for theorganization, entry, maintenance and accuracy of all clinicalresearch data for complex and detailed clinical trials. The Sr.Research Program Coordinator will also be responsible for theidentification and recruitment of study participants, includingattending clinic as necessary, coordination and/or collection andanalysis of data, the logistics of samples and plasma, organizingregulatory paperwork, and assisting with manuscript preparation.The Sr. Research Program Coordinator will work directly with theprincipal investigators and other study coordinators to develop,amend, and execute study protocols. The Sr. Research ProgramCoordinator will also monitor, schedule, and execute participantstudy visits. The Sr. Research Program Coordinator will assist withorientation of less senior research staff in protocol and clinicalresearch information.Under general supervision, thisposition manages the day-to-day administration of research programsfocused on convalescent plasma as a prophylaxis or early diseasetreatment ofCOVID-19.Specific Duties &Responsibilities:Assist and be in constant communication with the PI regardingall studyresponsibilitiesKeepstudy documents organized and up todateAssist in drafting Standard OperatingProceduresRevise and maintain Standard OperatingProceduresAssist in creating training materials and interviewerguidesEnsure staff have completed required human subjectstrainingPreform quality assurance and quality control checks on studydocuments including consent documents, laboratory forms,etc.Oversee and manage participanttrackingOversee and manage reimbursement scheduling anddisbursementProvide data checks as needed at the request of datamanagersConduct ongoing on-site field monitoring of study offices andlaboratorysites.AllaroundtroubleshootingMinimum Qualifications(mandatory):Bachelor’s degree in relateddiscipline required.3 years related experiencerequired.Additional education may substitutefor required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHUequivalencyformula***.PreferredQualifications:Experience in consenting patients,conducting medical interviews, data entry in REDCap, and working onlongitudinal studies is preferred.Special Knowledge, Skills, andAbilities:Proficiency in the use of softwareapplications, databases, spreadsheets, and word processingrequired.Excellent organizational skills andattention to detail are required.Knowledge of clinical researchpractices and principles required.Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills required.Excellent team management, verbal andwritten communication and organizational skillsrequired.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel,and Access.Must have the ability to workindependently and manage multipletasks.Detailoriented.***JHU EquivalencyFormula:30 undergraduate degree credits(semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute forone year of experience.
