first_imgJob DescriptionThe Agricultural Technology program (AT) is part of the College ofAgriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) at Virginia Tech. The ATprogram consists of two years of education, leading to an Associateof Agriculture Degree. Its primary purpose is to provide studentswith the practical experience needed to be productive in the manycareers within the Agricultural Industry. The AT program is seekingapplicants for an academic year, nontenure track, instructorposition for the Landscape and Turfgrass Management (LTM)option.The faculty member will be expected to teach three to four coursesper semester. Specific courses will include but are not limited to:Fundamentals of Turfgrass Management, Golf and Sports TurfManagement, Turfgrass Capstone, Soils and Nutrient Management, andIrrigation and Drainage. Additional responsibilities will includecoordination for diversity and inclusion activities for theprogram. This person will advise turfgrass emphasis students.Assistance with curriculum revision, recruitment, marketing, andalumni relations is an expectation.
