Kate, then to the newly opened lookout, and then returned to Skradin the same way.”When a man stands in a place like this, looking at the miraculous creations of nature, he cannot help but be happy to have the opportunity to enjoy them and not be proud of the task he has: to manage their protection and presentation. In order to offer another excursion and recreational destination for local residents and visitors, the Public Institution “Krka National Park” arranged the trail and the Vuković floor lookout, for which HRK 457.088,60 was spent. Little by little, a ring of hiking trails and cycling routes is being created around the Krka River, which opens up numerous opportunities for active leisure and develops a different form of visiting the Krka, which includes extended stays, active tours and true nature lovers., pointed out the director of the Public Institution “Krka National Park” mr. sc. Krešimir Šakić. From the Vuković floor lookout point, there is a view of the island of Visovac, the pearl of Croatian natural and cultural heritage, located in the middle of Visovac Lake, a gentle extension of the river between two waterfalls, Roški slap and Skradinski buk. The Franciscan monastery and church on the island form a unique ambient whole in a beautiful landscape, with a view of the tall apple trees that surround the island. The visitor sees all this when he looks to the right, and when he looks to the left he sees, cut into the vertical, rough rocks of the Krka river canyon, the gorge Među gredama, a 500 m long passage from Visovac Lake to Roški slap. Here, Krka is the narrowest and emerald green.
