Motorway scam highlighted as Irish couple offer helping hand to ‘stranded’ pair

first_imgA warning has been issued over a motorway scam which saw a couple lost nearly €500. According to the Irish Mirror, The couple from Strabane, Co Tyrone were returning from a trip to Europe when they came across two men who were “stranded on the motorway”.The distressed men explained to the couple they were also from Northern Ireland and needed money to get the boat home.
