Over 1,000 pollution complaints investigated in Donegal this year

first_img1,022 complaints of environmental pollution have been investigated by Donegal County Council this year so far.The complaints have resulted in 303 enforcement actions being issued against people or businesses who were causing problems.Pollution issues centre around fly-tipping, illegal dumping, water pollution, domestic wastewater treatment system problems, noise, backyard burning and other breaches. The figures were released to Cllr Gerry Crawford this week.
