Let’s take a look at which team is favored to prevail this season.A year ago, Texas stunned Oklahoma, 48-45 to take command of the Big 12. But the Sooners got revenge in December, knocking off the Longhorns in the Big 12 title game to reach the College Football Playoff. This year, it looks like both schools will be highly ranked again heading into the contest. Both the Sooners and the Longhorns are expected to be in the top 10 of the polls when they’re unveiled in July/August.A number of sportsbooks have already been putting out spreads for the games for this coming season. This week, FanDuel got in on the action. At the moment, Oklahoma is a slight 3-point favorite. Of course, that could change as we get closer to the actual game.Oklahoma, this year, will be quarterbacked by former Alabama signal-caller Jalen Hurts. He replaces Kyler Murray, who won the Heisman Trophy and headed to the NFL. Sam Ehlinger will likely start for Texas. The game is set for October 12 at 11:00 AM.
